Responding to reports of Israel choosing the house of its ambassador in Cairo as its embassy headquarters, diplomatic sources said that the Egyptian foreign ministry had not been officially informed of the move, according to a Friday report by Al-Masri Al-Yaum.

The sources said that, according to diplomatic custom, every country in the world can use its ambassador's residence in the way it deems most appropriate.
