Kinneret Up Two Centimeters

The Water Authority reported, Friday, that the water level of Lake Kinneret/the Sea of Galilee rose two centimeters/.8 inches in the last 24 hours, bringing it to 211.5 meters, slightly less than 694 feet below sea level.

Israel's largest freshwater source has risen a little over two meters since the beginning of the rainy season in November. Despite above-average precipitation, the lake is 2.7 meters below the flood level, in the wake of below-average rainfall in recent years.
