Amnesty to Hamas: Don't Execute Gazans

Amnesty International called on Hamas, Thursday, not to execute four Gaza residents who, it said, may be executed at any time on convictions of murder, abduction, political killings and cooperating with the Israel Defense Forces, according to the Ma'an news agency.

Interviewed by the Hamas Website, senior Hamas official Ihab Hussein said the organization would continue to execute anyone convicted of murder or spying for Israel, adding that the executions of whom he called "traitors and criminals" brought security to Gaza.
