Deputy Minister Ayoub Kara denounced on Thursday the eviction of the residents of Beit Hamachpela, saying it was humiliating.
“For me it is the most surreal thing that might have happened in our time,” Kara told Arutz Sheva. “The supporters of Israel were humiliated.”
Kara called to take away the powers of the Ministry of Defense when it comes to citizens of Judea and Samaria. “There is no difference between Hebron, Migron and Holon. I urge anyone who has eyes in his head to demand that the responsibility for civilian activities in Judea and Samaria be taken from the Ministry of Defense and given to the Ministry of the Interior.”
