Ariel Benizri, son of former minister Rabbi Shlomo Benizri said on Thursday that his family is excited for the Passover Seder, which will led by his father who was released from prison a few weeks ago.
“There is a very big feeling of genuine moving from slavery to freedom,” Benizri told Arutz Sheva. “Even though last year dad was with us at the Seder, this year the feeling is completely different. Last year he was with us, but we knew that today he’s with us and tomorrow he’s going back to prison. We knew that he had no true freedom and that was something that clouded our whole holiday.”
