Gaza Christians Allowed in Judea, Samaria for Easter

In the context of easing restrictions on Palestinian Authority Arabs, Israel gave permission, Thursday, for about 500 Christians from Gaza to leave the Hamas-controlled area to Judea and Samaria and other areas of Israel for events associated with their Easter holiday on Sunday. More than 20,000 Christians from Judea and Samaria were authorized to enter other parts of Israel.

On Thursday, the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories coordinated the passage of 107 Gaza Christians. Another 400 are expected to leave Gaza during the week of the holiday.
