Two ancient Egyptian coffins were confiscated by the Israel Antiquities Authority. Reports said they were smuggled from Egypt to the United Arab Emirates and then to Israel. They were discovered approximately two months ago in the Muslim quarter marketplace in the Old City of Jerusalem by antiquities experts, according to Haaretz newspaper. They are covered with hieroglyphic band paintings.
