Egyptian Foreign Minister Mohamed Kamel Amr warned, Monday, against supplying ammunition to the rebels in Syria, saying such a step could lead to civil war.

Amar called for a peaceful situation in Syria, adding: "We want to give chance to the plan of UN and Arab League envoy, Kofi Annan, and see what will come of it ... I hope there will be a non-military solution to the crisis,  through the initiative of the Arab countries."
