Three Hospitalized in Ra'anana Blast

The Magen David Adom emergency service said, Sunday afternoon, that three people were sent to the hospital with light injuries as a result of an explosion at a paint factor in the Ra'anana industrial zone. A 25-year-old man was struck in the head by debris and two women suffered from smoke inhalation.

Paramedics awaited a green light from firefighters to enter buildings to look for people who may have been trapped. The initial explosion may have occured at a gas station close to the paint factory.
