Education Minister Gid'on Sa'ar responded, Thursday evening, to the purchase of what is being called "Beit Hamachpelah" by Jews from an Arab in Hevron.

Sa'ar, who serves in the diplomatic-security cabinet, said, "Assuming that the purchase was proper, the defense minister must give a permit for the deal on his authority and allow the Jewish residents to stay in the house that was purchased."
