Tenuva Workers Freeze Sanctions

The workers committee of the Tnuva agricultural cooperative announced, Thursday afternoon that it had decided to suspend protest sanctions until after Passover to enable delivery of products to consumers. The workers have withheld distribution of cottage cheese, chocolate drinks and Yoplait yoghurt products in protest of a lack of progress in talks on improved compensation and plans to fire up to 300 workers.

The workers said they would deliver all products, adding that  their goal was a triangle of fairness: fair profits for the company, fair prices and service for the customers and a fair wage for the workers.
