Gasoline to Stay Under 8 Shekels for Self Serve


The basic price for 95-octane unleaded gasoline is going up 2.85 percent at midnight, Saturday evening, due to a rise in crude oil prices. The new price for full service in most of the country will by 8.15 shekels, which equals $8.18 a gallon. There's a 21 agorot per liter discount for self service.

In Eilat, where there is no Value-Added Tax, the price per liter will be 7.01 ($7.04 per gallon), a 2.55 percent increase. The discount for self-service there is 18 agorot a liter.
