Yesha Council Chairman, Danny Dayan entered Beit Hamachpela in Hebron and said, “I do not understand the IDF or the government. This building was purchased legally. The High Court recently stressed the importance of ownership rights. I expect the government and all sources to acknowledge the purchase and allow the Jews into their home.

“Particularly now, with the anti-Semitic UN Human Rights Council declaring that Jewish presence in Hebron is a human rights offense, I expect the government to approve this accommodation,” said Dayan.
