Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu visited the Israeli-Egyptian border on Tuesday and saw work being done on the border fence. He spoke to IDF officials about security in the region.
Netanyahu expressed satisfaction with the pace of work on the fence. “The fence is a good response to illegal work infiltrators, criminal smugglers and terrorists,” he said. Dealing with border infiltrations “is a key to the future of the state of Israel, which is not very big in terms of either size or population,” he noted.
