Two Jewish residents from Givat Ronen, a Samarian community near Har Bracha were released to house arrest after spending a night in jail. They were arrested Monday following clashes with Arabs.
According to the Honenu legal aid organization, the Jewish residents were attacked by Arab residents from the nearby community of Arak-Burin. The Arab residents were allegedly in an area under supervision of Border Police officers. Honenu said the Jewish residents were attacked by the Arab residents.
The organization said that one of the Arabs was hit in the head by a rock. Security forces arrested one of the Jewish residents on suspicion of throwing a rock and a second Jewish resident who refused to present identification.
