IDF forces located and were able to neutralize a bomb that had been placed in central Gaza near the security fence. Terrorists had taken advantage of the fog in the area in the past week to place the bomb. The vigilance of the IDF troops helped foiled the attempt to harm IDF soldiers.
“The exposure of the bomb proves once again that terrorist organizations, especially Hamas, are taking advantage of the area near the fence to carry out attacks against Israeli citizens and IDF soldiers,” the IDF spokesperson said in a statement.
