Jailers Smuggled Cell Phones to Security Prisoners

It was disclosed, Sunday evening, that the Shabak Israel Security and the police arrested two jailers at the Eshel Prison in Be'er Sheva', at the beginning of March near the central Israeli city of Modi'in on suspicion of smuggling cellular telephones and SIM cards to security prisoners at Eshel.

The two Negev residents told investigators that they received an estimated hundreds of thousands of shekels from a Ramallah-area terrorist who was also arrested. Indictments were filed, Sunday, in the Be'er Sheva District Court.
