Report: Iran Planned to Bomb Israeli Ship Crossing Suez

Egyptian daily Al Ahram quoted Egypt's state security court on Saturday, that Iran had planned to bomb an Israeli ship crossing the Suez canal, with Iranian agents offering two Egyptian men 50,000 Egyptian pounds (NIS 30,000) to carry out the attack. Last week, Egypt detained the two Egyptian men after receiving information of the planned attack. Sources told state news agency MENA that a resident of the canal-side city of Ismailia, Soliman Abdel Razek, had planned to carry out the attack from land alongside the waterway, with the help of a colleague, Salama Ahmed, who both deny the accusation.
