Member of Knesset Nissim Ze'ev (Shas) continued, Friday, his criticism of government inactivity against illegal building of hundreds of housing units by Palestinian Authority Arabs in Section C, the Israeli-controlled parts of Judea and Samaria. He raised the issue, Thursday, during the final session of the Knesset's winter session.
Interviewed by Arutz Sheva's Hebrew service, Ze'ev explained, "Unfortunately, the Palestinian Authority gives them money to build and build, and if there are demolition orders, they pay for their lawyers. Our court can wait for years with the opinion of Advocate General on the subject, thus perpetuating the illegal construction." He said the public and its leaders should raise their voices because the government's silence on the matter could cost Israel dearly."
