The Taliban in Afghanistan said, Friday, that they would take revenge for 17 people recently killed by a United States soldier. Responding to an American announcement that the soldier would be tried for his act, the movement said it did not believe in the American justice system.

A Taliban spokesman said, "This was an intended action and we definitely intend to take our revenge against the American forces in Afghanistan.
