Member of Knesset Avi Dichter is expected to announce, Thursday afternoon, that he is quitting the race for leadership of the party and to pass his support to Knesset member Shaul Mofaz in his challenge to incumbent Tzipi Livni.
Dichter and Mofaz have scheduled a joint news conference at 5:00 p.m.
