Seven-year-old Miriam Monsonego “brought a lot of happiness, to everyone around her,” her brother Avishai said Tuesday, speaking to Channel 10. Miriam was murdered Monday in a shooting attack at the Otzar Hatorah school in Toulouse, France.

Avishai, who lives in Jerusalem, said that when he last spoke to his sister she asked what he planned to name his newborn daughter. His parents “waited for her a long time,” he added.

Rabbi Rafi Maman, Miriam’s uncle, said the family is “still in shock. Collapsing.” The family will be in Jerusalem on Wednesday to bury Miriam along with the three other victims of the attack.
