Ashton Backtracks on Judeo-Phobic Comment on Killing

Catherine Ashton, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the European Union, has backtracked on a comment she made earlier regarding the murders in France that were received with outrage by Israeli leaders. She stated, "we think about what happened today in Toulouse, we remember what happened in Norway last year, we know what happens in Syria, we see it happening in Gaza and in other regions."  She later stated, "there is no connection between the situation in Gaza to the murder of Toulouse. My words were taken out of context".
