The Knesset Finance Committee approved, Tuesday, regulations to streamline the compensation mechanism for women who earn very little via the earned income tax credit.

The committee also secured a budget of 200 million shekels for 2012 to increase the grant to qualifying women by 50 percent, raising the annual grant to NIS 4,500.
