French police said Monday that the gun used to kill four people outside a synagogue in Toulouse Monday was also used in the murder of two French Muslim soldiers last week. That, and other information, according to a report in a French publication, has led police to investigate whether a neo-Nazi gang was behind Monday's murders. Police are searching for three ex-soldiers who were thrown out of the army last year after being photographed in a Nazi salute, and wearing swastika tattoos.
Investigators confirmed to the French Le Monde Monday night that they were investigating the connection between the soldiers the murders.
