Armed Bedouin released two Brazilian tourists and an Egyptian police officer, hours after they abducted them.

Six Bedouin gunment had stopped a tourist bus that was on its way to the Santa Catarina monastery at the base of Mount Sinai and forced the hostages to disembark. The other passengers were allowed to leave the scene.
