Israelis Prefer Galilee for Vacations

The Galilee is the most preferred region for a vacation in all walks of life in Israel, and is followed by Eilat, the Negev, Jerusalem, Gush Dan and Haifa, according to a poll conducted for the 6th Annual Galilee Conference to be held in Nahariya this week.

The poll found that residents of the Galilee also prefer to spend their vacation in the Galilee, but unlike other parts of the country, for them Jerusalem comes in second. The explanation for this is that the value of Zionism is stronger among residents of the Galilee than in the other parts of the country.
