Syrian President Bashar Assad submitted on Tuesday his position on the proposal of the UN’s Special Envoy, Kofi Annan, to solve the crisis in the country.
Annan's spokesman confirmed that Assad gave his reply to Annan's proposal, but would not provide further details and said. “We received the reply, and we have no comment at this stage.”
