U.S. President Barack Obama said on Monday that the talk about the possibility of an attack on Iran has resulted in an increase in fuel prices.
“The biggest driving force for the increase in fuel prices is the speculation about a possible war in the Middle East,” Obama said, adding that it was for this reason that the U.S. tried to minimize the chatter about a strike in Iran.
