Kinneret Up Two Centimeters


The Water Authority reported, Monday morning, that the water level of Lake Kinneret (the Sea of Galilee) rose two centimeters/.78 inches in the last 24 hours. The water level stood at 211.94 meters/about 695 feet below sea level, about 106 centimeters above the lower red line.

Since the beginning of the rainy season, the water level has risen 174 centimeters, with 314 to go before Israel's largest freshwater sources is considered full.
