“Our conscience and humanity require us to speak up in face of the atrocities perpetrated by Damascus,” MK Ayoub Kara said Friday. “Those with no human sensitivity remain apathetic.”
“I call on Israelis – Arabs and Jews alike – to come protest and be part of a conscientious world that is sensitive to its neighbors’ misery,” he declared.
The Zionist student group Im Tirzu and the Kibbutz movement will come together Sunday to protest the Syrian government’s violent assault on political opposition groups. Kara is scheduled to speak at the event.
