Police have arrested a construction manager on suspicion of involvement in a bribery case. The suspect is believed to have given his approval to reinforced rooms that did not meet Homefront Command standards.

The reinforced rooms, known as “mamadim,” are required in civilian apartment buildings. They are meant as an easily accessible alternative to bomb shelters.
