U.S., Jordan Plan to Protect Syrian Weapons

The United States and Jordan are working on a joint plan to protect chemical and biological weapons in Syria, according to the Wall Street Journal. The plans would be put into effect if international forces are invited into the country as part of a peacekeeping force.

Syria is believed to have large stockpiles of nerve agents and mustard gas. Jordan and America hope to prevent the weapons from falling into the hands of Hizbullah or other terrorist groups.
