Deputy Knesset Speaker Danny Danon called on Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, Thursday, to restore checkpoints that have been removed from roads in the Hevron area.
Reacting to the stabbing of a soldier in Yatta, south of Hevron, the Likud lawmaker said the roadblocks needed to be returned to make it difficult for terror to circulate and endanger human life. MK Danon said, "This despicable attack is an example of the terror culture of the Palestinians." He added, "Only agressive action will succeed in stopping incidents like this in the future."
Danon continued, "We need to stop the softness with which Defense Minister Barak deals with terror in Judea and Samaria and return to the agressive and uncompromising policy of deterrance towards those who try to harm the security of the citizens of Israel.
