Inmates in the Hasharon Prison filed a petition requesting the ability to purchase hamantaschen, the traditional triangular shaped cookies for the Purim holiday. An attorney for the prisoners noted that in the past the Chabad-Lubavitch organization brought hamantaschen and other Purim treats to the jail, but new regulations bar them from doing so.
