The Knesset Finance Committee approved, Monday, the budgeting of 280 million shekels for the final portion of a barrier to prevent infiltration from the Sinai Peninsula into Israel. The Eilat-hills section of the barrier is considered the most complex.

The committee also approved a quarter of a billion shekels for establishing a holding facility for infiltrators, pending disposition of their cases.
