A report in the Washington Post Sunday said that U.S. President Barack H. Obama will asked Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu for “patience” regarding a possible attack on Iran's nuclear facilities. Obama is expected to ask Netanyahu to give more time for sanctions to work on discouraging Iran from continuing with its nuclear weapons development program, the report said.

A White House statement over the weekend said that the U.S. was “fully committed” to Israel's security. Netanyahu is set to meet with Obama on Monday, a day after President Shimon Peres meets with him. Peres is expected to agree publicly with Obama's position.
