Shekel Off Slightly in Mixed Trading

The official value of the shekel declined an average of .002 percent, Friday, in mixed trading against the other currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign-exchange list. The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.791, up .185 percent from Thursday's rate, while the Euro declined .127 percent to 5.0307 shekels.

The pound sterling was set at NIS 6.0383, up .081 percent, while 100 Japanese yen fell .495 percent to 4.6436 shekels.
