First Test of Arrow 3 Soon


Yitzchak Kaya, the head of the Chetz (Arrow) 3 anti-missile missile program at Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), said, Thursday that IAI will soon conduct a test of the Chetz (Arrow) 3 anti-missile missile.

Speaking at the "New Tech" gathering for development of military capabilities, Kaya said "the holding of parallel experiments at several levels within a short time, establishes the highest level of system reliability." He added that the Chetz/Arrow 3 system included the upgraded Oren Adir (Great Pine) radar system, which can "deal effectively with threats that have not yet been developed by the enemy."
