The Chabad-Lubavitch movement is gearing up for massive Purim campaigns in Israel. In addition to distributing mishloach manot (food parcels) to prisoners, the movement will also be handing out parcels to many thousands of victims of terrorism, wounded soldiers and IDF widows.

Children in Chabad schools have been helping with the preparations by packing the food baskets. The baskets will be delivered in person by Chabad volunteers.

“It’s a wonderful privilege for us to be able to bring some happiness to these heroic families,” Rabbi Menachem Kutner told the Chabad website.
