The Knesset Interior and Environmental Affairs Committee approved for second and third reading, Tuesday morning, a population-registry bill which would register as Jews, those who were declared so by rabbincial ruling.
The bill was proposed by MKs DavidAzoulay,Eitan Cabel,FaniaKirschenbaumand Zvulun Orlev.
