It will be clear to partly cloudy, Tuesday, with winds ranging from 30-60 kilometers/20-39 miles an hour, making for a high-wave warning at Mediterranean beaches. Hazy skies are forecast as far north as Tel Aviv, with sandstorms forecast for the Negev. Rain will begin in the north during the afternoon and spread to the center in the evening. The winds are expected to continue through Friday, as are the rains, which will strengthen and reach the Negev on Wednesday, accompanied by a risk of flash flooding and other local flooding. Temperatures will drop below normal and snow is forecast for Mount Hermon. Wednesday night, the snow is expected to extend to other northern peaks, reaching central peaks by Thursday. The rains will weaken on Friday.
