Initiated during the last Knesset by current Minister for Improvement of Government Services, Michael Eitan, among its actions to benefit Ethiopian immigrants, the proposal calls for theestablishment of acenterthatwill coordinateresearchactivities, educationand the perpetuation ofthe cultural heritageof the Ethiopian Jews. If approved, the center will includea unique library,archive andresearch center on the subject.
