Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas decried the “Judaization” of Jerusalem in an interview this week with the Egyptian daily Al-Masri Al-Youm. “Is [Jerusalem] in danger? It has already been Judaized,” he said in response to an interviewer’s question.
Abbas called on the Arab world to “save Jerusalem” by paying for the construction of Arab housing in the city.
