Several First Nations leaders visited Knesset on Tuesday in a show of support for Israel. They met with deputy minister Ayoub Kara, who expressed joy at their visit and lamented Israel’s previous failure to make contact with native groups.
“This is the first time that an Indian delegation is visiting the Israeli Knesset. Jews and Indians have a lot in common,” Kara said. The visit, and outreach to native groups in general, can do much to help Israel’s cause, he added.
