Member of Knesset Uri Ariel (National Union Party) came out against proposal for government funding for oil and gas profits. The Knesset Finance Committee held a hearing on the matter. The Office of the Prime Minister presented the plan. MK Ariel stated, "You can not demand that the public comply with the law. [this] is setting a bad example to the public."
