Israel Railways said, shortly before 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, that it has fixed the malfunction that caused a train to be stuck near the Beit Yehoshua station, between Netanya and Tel Aviv, and hopes southbound traffic will be back on schedule by 10:00 a.m., if not sooner.

People aboard the train were evacuated.
