Britain Investigates Lax Conduct in Border Crossings

500,000 people were allowed entry into Britain without undergoing a security check between the years 2007 and 2011, it was reported Monday.

According to the report, the local Borders Commissioner has launched an investigation into the conduct of border crossings, after routine inspections found a lax conduct in air and sea ports without government approval. The tests also found that the biometric fingerprints identification device was disabled for 14,812 events in the first six months of 2011.
