Eitan Wants Secret Vote for Likud Central Committee

Member of Knesset Michael Eitan is leading a drive to gather signatures of ten percent of the members of the Likud party to force a secret ballot for chairmanship of the party's central committee, ahead of his battle with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and World Likud leader Danny Danon for the position.

In literature accompanying the signature drive, the Minister for Improvement of Government services says a secret vote will lessen the chances of voters feeling uncomfortable as they vote and improve the chances for accuracy in the counting of the ballots.
