The government of Azerbaijan has given asylum to the Mossad agent suspected of apparent involvement in the killing of Iranian nuclear scientists, according to a Monday report by Iran's FARS news agency.

The Iranian report comes against the backdrop of a piece in the Times of London, a week ago, which cited a man who identified himself as a Mossad agent who collects intelligence about the Islamic Republic.
